Our History
Our owner, Darryl R. Hill, began his career in Greensboro, NC working for QI-Renn, now Masco Corporation, where he spent 11 years mastering gutter installation. During this time, he perfected the art and a craft of installing effective and seamless gutter solutions for homes and businesses in our local communities.
On April 1, 1999, Darryl and his wife, Lesley Hill, were presented with the opportunity to pursue their dream of owning their own business. Darryl purchased a machine, a trailer, a small amount of material, a fantastic logo, and Suncoast Building Products & Services, Inc. was born.
Lesley, Darryl’s wife and business partner of 30 years, is the CEO. She holds an Associates Degree in Science and has over 20 years of education and experience in Sales & Customer service.
In 2010, SunCoast proudly added Zeb Hill to the company. Training alongside his father since he was 15, Zeb has earned an excellent reputation for his creative ideas, custom accessories, and tireless efforts to maintain the legacy Darryl and Lesley started in 1999.
In 2017 Zeb's wife, Megan Hill, joined the company to help with office operations. She quickly became Office Manager, and for the past 3 years she has held the title of General Manager.
